Education Always Forms

Children spend thousands of hours in school, learning about the world—its history, systems, values, and future – as well as being trained in how to impact it. Whether intentional or not, every educational environment disciples. Parents get the honor of choosing which environment will shape their child’s understanding of the world and future goals.

Children Arise believes education is one of the most powerful tools God has given for shaping hearts, minds, and purpose. When learning is separated from God, children are formed by a worldview that leaves faith disconnected from everyday life. When education is Christ-centered, children discover how God applies to every subject, calling, and career.

Our Vision for Education

We envision learning environments where:
  • God’s fingerprints are visible in creation, history, and human flourishing.
  • Children are taught to understand their gifts and use them in service of God’s Kingdom.
  • Education prepares students not just for careers, but to discern God’s will and follow His plan.
  • Faith and learning work together to build confidence, clarity, and hope.
  • The quality of education done God’s way is so clearly superior, that our non-Christian neighbors want it for their own children, creating opportunities for local churches to reach out into and care for their community.

How We Work in Education

Children Arise supports education-focused discipleship by:
Providing consulting and mentoring for Christians and churches seeking to influence education in their city.
Offering training for new school startups and consulting for existing Christian schools.
Facilitating collaboration between Christian schools, hybrid programs, homeschool co-ops, and other learning communities.
When education is reclaimed as discipleship, children grow into adults who see every vocation as a calling and every challenge as an opportunity to work alongside God.
